The Heart Behind

Alive in God’s Light

Alive in God’s Light is a creative ministry devoted to sharing the love of Christ through music, reflection, and devotional experiences.

What began as a quiet place for worship songs has grown into something deeper — a space where music, scripture, and reflection come together to help hearts reconnect with the presence of God.

Our mission is simple:

To help people slow down, listen for God’s voice, and rediscover the light He has already placed within them.

This ministry was born in both the valleys and the mountaintops — in prayers whispered through pain, and in moments of overwhelming gratitude when God’s goodness felt too great to keep inside.

Some songs came from nights of tears.

Others from mornings of praise, standing in awe of the simple, breathtaking beauty of life with Him.

But every piece of this ministry begins in the same place:

a real encounter with God.

Sometimes it’s a scripture that brings hope.

Sometimes it’s a quiet moment when God gently reminds us:

You are not alone.

Music became the first language of this journey — a way to pour out worship, ask questions, and give thanks to the One who gives life.

Over time, that expression expanded into written reflections and devotional resources designed to guide people into moments of stillness with God.

Through songs, devotionals, and reflections, Alive in God’s Light exists to create a peaceful space where faith can deepen, hearts can rest, and hope can grow again.

Along the way, I’ve discovered something beautiful:

God can use any tool to shine His light.

In this season, He has placed creative tools in our hands that allow His message to travel farther than ever before — reaching hearts we may never meet in person.

It’s not about the tools themselves.

It’s about how God moves through them.

I don’t create simply to be heard.

I create to walk with people — through joy and sorrow, through surrender and celebration — and to remind them that God’s light is still shining even when the path ahead feels uncertain.

The name Alive in God’s Light comes from Psalm 36:9:

“For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.”
Psalm 36:9

Whether you came here for a song or soon a reflective devotional moment, my prayer is that this space helps you feel seen, known, and held by the One who never leaves.

Thank you for walking this journey with me.

In His light,

Jennifer
